Calvary Chapel Crossroads is a fellowship of believers
located in Northern California's Sacramento Delta in the river community
of Antioch. Our desire is to grow in our relationship with God through
the knowledge of His grace and truth, to grow in our relationships with
one another, and to let the world know of God's love for them and His
plan for their lives. We place an emphasis on Worship and the Verse by
Verse teaching of God's Word.

Many of us wish we had the opportunity to make a fresh start -- to discover a place where we are accepted and can develop and grow. Perhaps you went to church in the past and have gotten out of the habit. If it’s time for you to jump back in, Calvary Chapel Crossroads is ready to assist you in that fresh start. You will find people like yourself who are discovering and growing.
WARMTH:
We love each other and we will love you too! We believe the church should be a place of friendship, fellowship and a feeling of acceptance.
CONVICTION:
We hold certain truths to be non negotiable -- truths that have been held precious by genuine Christians through the ages. We are unashamed to declare our fidelity to the Word of God. At the same time we understand the impossibility of unanimity on all points of peripheral doctrine. In these areas we maintain that we will always seek to find scriptural balance in all areas.
WE'RE CONTEMPORARY:
Our church was designed to meet the needs of the coming twenty first century. We have planned an atmosphere in which you will feel free to invite friends. One word people will use to describe our services is "casual" -- enough structure to insure order but coupled with a freedom that most folks tell us they really enjoy.
COMMITMENT:
We are committed to several things -- distinctives -- about which we feel strongly. We are dedicated to verse-by-verse exposition of the Scripture in our meetings. Second we are committed to worship that is orderly, yet focused on Christ alone. Personal and corporate evangelism is one of our highest priorities.
Thirdly, we emphasize faithfulness to four simple principles as outlined in Acts 2:42.
Teaching the Word.
Fellowship in the Spirit.
Baptism and Communion.
Prayer.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:
Calvary Chapel Crossroads is a fellowship of believers located in the heart of California's Delta. Our desire is to grow in our relationship with God through the knowledge of His grace and truth, to grow in our relationships with one another, and to let the world know of God's love for them and His plan for their lives. Following the church model in Acts 2:42, we continue steadfastly in teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer.
OUR HISTORY:
Calvary Chapel Crossroads has been in East Contra Costa County since 1981; The church has utilized a number of facilities through out its history, and is now located in Antioch,CA.
OUR BELIEFS:
Calvary Chapel Crossroads has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ.
WE BELIEVE that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father,Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His Virgin Birth; in His sinless life;in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
WE BELIEVE it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.
